Removers and strippers which damage the character of the wood and the luster of the new finish are never used at Montalbano Majestic. A specially formulated thinner is used to completely dissolve the old finish as if it never existed. The item is then taken apart as necessary, re-glued, repaired, and completely hand sanded and prepared for its new twelve step finish- second to none.
